The Soniat name has been synonymous with real estate sales and property management in the New Orleans area for over 70 years. Godfrey Soniat, who passed away in 1995, was a founding partner in Soniat and Quinlan Real Estate Company from the early 1960’s until the break-up of the partnership in 1976. At that time Godfrey, his wife, Laura Mae, and their son, Bill, established Soniat Realty, Inc.
Bill Soniat, GRI, CPM, current President of Soniat Realty, is a Past-President of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors and a Past President of the Louisiana Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management. Julia Soniat is the Vice-President and Office Manager, handling the day-to-day operations. The co-founders of Soniat Realty, Godfrey and Laura Mae Soniat were known for their fair dealings and high ethical standards, and these principles are the foundation upon which Soniat Realty has been built. As a result, our business has grown through referrals throughout the community.
The Soniat Realty Sales and Management Team has an intimate knowledge of the local area, and and team members work extensively to help buyers and sellers meet their real estate goals.
